Patrick P. Lee Foundation Giving in Excess of Two Million Dollars in 2009
Buffalo, NY – February 19, 2010 - The Patrick P. Lee Foundation today announced a new level of community commitment with total Grant Awards, Pledges and Donations in excess of two million dollars for the 2009 giving year.
In line with their Mission Statement, the Foundation awarded grants to organizations in the following areas; Human Service - Camp Good Days & Special Times, Meals on Wheels, Health Association of Niagara County, Habitat for Humanity Buffalo, South Dade Child Care Center, Project LifeSaver WNY, People Inc., Niagara Hospice, New Hope C.O.R.P.S. of Florida, Food Bank of WNY, St. Adalbert’s Response to Love Center, Buffalo City Mission and Our Lady of Victory Renaissance Corporation; Education - Summit Educational Resources, The BISON Scholarship Fund, D’Youville College, Eating Disorders Association of WNY, The Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, Canisius High School, and, University at Buffalo School of Engineering & Applied Sciences; Mental Wellness - Family & Children’s Service of Niagara, Inc., Crisis Services, Samaritan Pastoral Counseling Center, CMH Counseling, Healthy Community Alliance, Inc., and Mid-Erie Counseling & Treatment Services, Inc.; Medical Research - Roswell Park Alliance Foundation.
